VERY EAGER to try from shared experiences of the food offerings, services, and ambiance-- strictly a matter of time but word-of-mouth is--- a MUST!! We frequent their neighbors Osaka and its always a TOUGH DEBATE on who wins out on the final "choice" haha

The food was amazing and the restaurant is very clean with gorgeous artwork on the walls.

Server was great and the food is amazing, I had palak and the Naan basket, the wait is short compared to other restaurants and the food is probably some of the best I've ever eaten at any restaurant

Best tikka missala I've ever had!!!! Still haven't found one as good. It's rich and creamy and goes perfectly with their garlic naan

Did takeout while staying at the Holiday Inn next to this restaurant and was very satisfied with it. Great food, good value and nice people. Had the masala wings, Chana masala and a garlic naan. Neither the web site nor web comments let me know that they serve beer and wine so I grabbed my own wine and they don't allow corkage. Otherwise, I'd have been happy to have dined in. Very happy with the experience.

Lunch buffet is awesome. Get to try so many different dishes that I wouldn't normally order. Love that they have chicken tikka masala on the buffet along with two types of rice and naan. The rice pudding is great too for a sweet ending! There is a spinach and vegetable mixture as well that is one of my favorites. The only thing that would make this a 5 star for me would be paneer tikka masala on the buffet as well. Not my favorite tikka masala in town, but when it's buffet style, it will keep drawing me back!!

Ah, the Yak, the birthplace of my Indian food obsession. I'm not sure what first made me try this place. I'd driven past it a hundred times on 25th before really paying attention. Maybe it was the goofy name, or just wanting to try something different, but boy is this place the real deal. In all seriousness, Himalayan Yak has the best Indian/ Nepali food I have ever tried. Their Tikka Masala is especially a superstar, I mean I can't even make up how darn good it is. At first, I thought it was possibly just because it was the first place I tried- so you know, it's a honeymoon phase in my mind and nothing will beat my first time trying. But as I've been to more and more Indian places I realized it's not that, it's just because Yak is straight good. Yak knows how to spice it. Everything I've tried just has been amazing- the spice levels are just right where other places mess it up. The Tikka and Rogan Josh are my favorites to date. And they cook their lamb exactly right, it's so soft and tender and brings tears of joy to my eyes. (I love my Indian food, okay?) Thank you Yak for existing.

I had a Himalayan restaurant in South Dakota once and did not realize the cuisine and how tasty it was, so when I was in the Fargo area, I saw this on the menu and was immediately intrigued. Himalayan cuisine is similar to Indian food, so if you like Indian, this is the place for you. We ordered two different dishes and naan bread. I'm a huge goat/lamb meat fan, so that was what I ordered with different sauce/flavors. Everything was so good and full of flavor. we ended up so full and had food to go for the next day. Would highly recommend if you're in the area and want to try a different cuisine.
